Obituary: Alexander McLeay
Clarence & Richmond Examiner, Tuesday 22 October 1905

Another of the very old residents of the Clarence River passed away at his residence, Harwood Island, in the person of Mr. Alexander McLeay. The deceased has been bed ridden for the past five years. He leaves a large family of grown up sons and daughters with whom much sympathy is expressed. Mrs A. Black of the Freemantle Harbour Works Department, Mrs John McDermid of Tyagarah and Mrs R. Purcell of the Back Channel, near Warregah are daughters and Messrs. John & Alick McLeay sons
