James Hodgkinson was the sole selector at Lennox Headland. James married Mary and had 3 sons: Albert, Walter and Percy; and 5 daughters: Grace (Mrs Kidston), Nina (Mrs Seymour), Hebe (Mrs Richmond), Sally (Mrs McDongall) & Constanza (Mrs Stewart).
Constanza gained the land next to her parents in 1896 and married Thomas Stewart in 1899. Constanza and Thomas had one daughter, Florence J. b. 1899, (Janie), who married Victor Johnson in 1927. Janie and Victor's children included: Clyde, Lorna (Williams), Edna (Hayter), Irvine and Albert.
Albert Hodgkinson, settled the farm at the top of the hill at North Creek. His daughter Lorna was well known in the education of the mentally
restarted. Lorna was the first female to study at Harvard University and there is a spastic centre in Mossman, Sydney named after her.
