We all have little things tucked
away in the back of our minds, than need only a slight nudge to make
them come flooding out. This has been the case with the participants
in one of the Australian Genealogy and History mailing lists. So many
people, with so many memories, that it seemed a shame to lose
them.
If you wish to include your memories here,
then please do so. Genealogy is more than just a list of who begat who
- your ancestors did things, went places, met people - if they hadn't,
you would not be who you are today.
Including your Old Days memories
In keeping with the changes to the
AustraliaGenWeb site, I have implemented some changes here as well.
Please read the instructions for submission of you
memories.
If your
memories are lengthy, please type them in text file format or a word
processor such as Word or Word Perfect and attach them to an email and
send it to me - please make sure your documents are virus free first
though. Contact

There have been
some suggestions made regarding the viewing of archived memories. I
have therefore made it quite simple for anyone to view these files. To
read them, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed
on your computer. Once you have installed the program on your
computer, you can download the PDF (Portable Document Format) file you
want and read it at your leisure using your Acrobat
Reader.

There are versions of this software
available for all computer types
